Public Sector SIG Holds Successful First Meeting

The first organizational meeting of the ATP Public Sector SIG, which was hosted by the Hungarian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, opened with an address by ATP CEO Dr. William G. Harris and David Bearfield, Director of the European Personnel Selection Office (EPSO). Harris and Bearfield outlined the mission and purpose of the Public Sector SIG as a group focused on issues surrounding testing and assessment in global public sector arenas. Read full story...


ATP Creates New Practice Area Division

For the first time in nearly two decades the ATP Board of Directors, this fall, approved a new Practice Area Division, which will be dedicated to assessments for workforce skills credentialing.  The new Division, which held an organizational meeting December 10-11, in Washington D.C., will be ATP's fifth Practice Area Division. HMH Executive to Lead ATP As 2015 Chair

Leading the 2015 ATP Board of Directors will be Doug Becker, Vice President of Houghton Mifflin Harcourt’s newly created Assessment Studio where he oversees and guides all test development, research and psychometric activities. Dr. Becker has served on the board of the National Council on Measurement in Education, the editorial board of Applied Measurement in Education, as well as the Board of Directors for the Association of Test Publishers (ATP).
