India-ATP prepares to host its fifth annual conference Friday, December 20th in New Delhi. Keynoters include Dr. Sandhya Chintala, Vice President of the National Association of Software and Service Companies (NASSCOM) and Executive Director of the Sector Skills Council of NASSCOM. The National Association of Software and Service Companies is the chamber of commerce of the IT-BPM Industry. ATP Submits Comments to European Data Protection Board
Test publishers cite concerns over proposed video surveillance restrictions
On July 10, 2019 the European Data Protection Board (EDPB) released for public comment its Guidelines on processing of personal data through video devices. The EDPB, which is an independent European legal body that contributes to the consistent application of data protection rules throughout the European Union and promotes cooperation between supervisory authorities, stated that it would accept comments until September 9th. E-ATP Prepares to Launch First-time Global Summit on Privacy and Security
The Association of Test Publishers' European Region, E-ATP, is pleased to announce a half day Global Summit on Privacy and Security on 30th September 2020 in London.
As part of the ATP's effort to lead the conversation in test privacy and security, the Global Summit on Privacy and Security will focus on the key security and privacy issues facing the assessment industry in Europe and globally. With changing technology giving rise to new threats to test security and with the rise of data breaches, security is a key priority for all those involved in assessment. Meanwhile new laws and regulations in Europe, the US and elsewhere give test takers privacy rights and testing organizations data protection obligations, which need to be balanced carefully against security.
