Intelligent Test Use  making educated decisions

Educational and psychological tests being utilized with increasing frequency to gather and analyze information about individuals. By providing fundamental improvements over alternative assessment practices, they are among the most important contributions of behavioral science to our society.

Although there is extensive evidence supporting the fairness and effectiveness of properly constructed tests and testing practices, improper use of tests can cause considerable harm to test takers and other parties affected by test-based decisions.
