PI Company was founded in Arnhem in 1994 under the name PiMedia. Co-founders Peter van der Bel and Martijn van der Woude gave the impetus for the organization. Their idea was to implement Assessment Center techniques in organizations in order to make managers more effective. The 360-degree feedback instrument Reflector was their first product. This product and many of the HR products and services that followed have made PI Company a leader in its field.

Connector Ability
Connector Ability is a new, unique cognitive ability test that measures the G factor, the general intelligence factor. Connector Ability is unique because the test is:

·         Free from cultural bias; language and culture exert no relevant influence on the test results;

·         Fast and efficient due to its adaptive nature; the level of each question depends on the answer to the previous question;

·         Available online 24x7, can be administered anywhere and at any time;

·         Available in a multitude of languages.

Cognitive ability tests are proven to be the most effective predictors of success in the work context. Connector Ability does this reliably, quickly and efficiently.

Reflector Big Five Personality 
Reflector Big Five Personality is a modern online personality questionnaire providing a comprehensive overview of how an employee scores on the five most important personality traits (Instability, Extraversion, Openness, Accommodation and Conscientiousness) on which people differ, as well as a number of aspects underlying these five traits.
The questionnaire focuses on behaviors that people show in work situations. The questionnaire paints a portrait of the measured personality traits of an employee in so far as they match the competencies required for the work they do.

Reflector 360
To gain insight into their own capabilities, employees should be able to systematically evaluate their own competencies. But that is just one possible perspective. For a more balanced view, it is equally important to get the various individuals in the employees' environment involved in the assessment – for example, supervisors, colleagues, employees and customers. The similarities and differences between the various perspectives – also known as 360-degree feedback – offer valuable starting points for discussions about the deployment and development of competencies.

Reflector 360 creates a map of behavior in the workplace. This behavior is described in terms of competencies, such as customer focus, leadership, commitment, entrepreneurship, etc. In the questionnaire, the competencies are developed into descriptions of concrete behavior. Effective versus ineffective behaviors are compared in each case.
